Financial abuse (also known as economic abuse) is a form of domestic violence. It can leave women with insufficient financial resources to fulfill their basic needs. This module will help you to recognise financial abuse and learn how financial security empowers women.

- what financial abuse is
- about the impacts for women and their children
- why women stay in financially abusive relationships and why they make the decision to leave, and
- the various support services available to assist women and children once they have escaped the abusive relationship.
